Hi!

I’m Maaike, a postdoctoral researcher in the DTAI research group at KU Leuven, under the supervision of Professor Jesse Davis.

My research interests lie in combining learning and reasoning techniques, multi-agent systems with complex and dynamic environments, and probabilistic model checking. I enjoy translating technical contributions into real-world applications, especially in a sports setting. My current research focuses on extracting tactical insights from soccer (event / positional) data using a combination of learning and reasoning techniques.

Besides computer science, my interests include playing soccer , traveling , and all things space-related .
